Description
The optional golden ring is no longer available, but if you set
your Corotor or Polarotor feedhorn to an f/D ratio for .32 the performance
will be fine.
It is most important that you make
sure the focal length is set correctly.
Generally 95 % effectiveness is having the correct focal
position. The rest is a trade-off between gain and system noise.
The golden ring was used to reduce terrestrial interference not
to improve the signal gain. |
